CREDITS FOR STUDIES WITHOUT A STATE GUARANTEE
Who could apply for the Study credit?
• all the students of higher educational institutions of Lithuania independent of the type of their studies - full-time, part-time or extramural.
• pay for studies in higher educational institutions of Lithuania.
• students from the very beginning until the end of their studies.
What is amount, currency and term of the Study credit?
• Credit for studies is granted only in litas
• A maximum amount of this credit - an aggregate of all the future payments for the studies.
• A maximum credit term - 10 years (including credit payout and repayment periods).
How to repay the Study credit?
• Repayment of the credit starts in one year after the studies have been finished, but not longer than after five years since the credit has been granted.
• It is repaid in portions according to the repayment schedule set in the credit agreement.
• Interest is paid monthly.
Why the Study credit of Šiaulių bankas is attractive?
• Students may take such amount of credit, which is necessary to pay for studies at maximum.
• Credit repayment may be postponed in case the period of studies is extended (academic vacation, maternity leave, etc.).
• Credit may be prepaid.
• Payment card is issued free of charge.
• There is no annual administration fee applied to payment card.
• Funds transferred to a card account are accepted free of charge.
• Borrowers of a study credit are granted with a discount coupon:
• At “Daily Service” shops - 10% (for school goods, writing materials, business presents, haberdashery, laminating, copying, binding, scanning, exercise-books, block notes, computers and office equipmen appurtenance)
• At bookshops network “Vaga” - 10% (for stationary)
• At bookshops network “Mūsų knyga” - 5% (for books and publications)
• At bookshop “Baltų lankų knygynas” - 5% (for all goods excluding textbooks and workbooks as well as books under campaign or marked with a special price).
What documents should be submitted in order to apply for the Study credit?
• An application;
• A document proving personal identity;
• Student’s certificate and a study agreement with a higher educational institution of Lithuania. In case there is no fee for studies set in the agreement, please provide a note from a higher educational institution of Lithuania with Your name, surname, study group and year, date of the beginning of studies, amount of the fee applied to studies, period for which the fee is paid and the account of a higher educational institution of Lithuania where the funds should be transferred;
• Copies of agreements of financial liabilities of natural and legal entities (credit, leasing, insurance, etc.);
• Documents proving average monthly income;
• Documents necessary to pledge the assets.
