What is a direct debit?

DIRECT DEBIT service is executed when the Customer by signing an agreement agrees that Šiaulių Bankas in the future without extra notice shall pay bills submitted on the Customer’s behalf. A direct debit agreement can be made not only in the outlets of Šiaulių bankas or companies providing the services but also using the bank’s Internet service system SB linija.

At your request a direct debit order may be executed only after you provide your consent to settle each particular account, choose presentation and settlement systems of E-pay or M-pay accounts.

E-pay system: money from your account will be transferred to a service supplier’s account only after you give a direction (consent) to pay for a provided bill. To review bills provided to you by service suppliers and to give consent to settle them you are able on the website http://www.epay.lt/.

M-pay system: it is a system operating due to SMS messages, a website http://www.mpay.lt which accepts, processes and delivers service users’ consent to pay for the bills provided by service suppliers. To put it simply - it is a way to settle your bills via a mobile phone. The only things you have to possess are a mobile telephone, which receives and sends SMS messages, a bank account and a payment card.
